Indoor pollution. What can we do?

There is still much to be done to affirm the right to healthy spaces where we live, whether it's the workplace, your home or community environments (public and private).

We are all aware that the quality of the environment (outdoor or indoor) is fundamental to the quality of life. While much is being done (with a lot of effort and alternating results) to improve the environmental parameters, too little is being done to make the indoor environment healthy, where most people spend most of their time. Whether at home, in the office or in a public building rather than in a supermarket. For those who do not have a beach house, it may be important to know that the quality of the domestic air affects the formation of respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, especially on the most defenceless subjects.

Is there anything we can do to improve the situation?

The monitoring of environmental parameters has now become an essential tool for companies and offices. Today, in fact, it is possible to control not only Carbon Dioxide (CO2), humidity and temperature, but also Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC), the presence of smoke and unhealthy gases. It is the essential step to ensure not only the health of its employees, but also their performance. It is a clear fact that breathing well in well-lit environments exponentially increases people's ability to concentrate and their well-being. It is therefore worthwhile twice.

Kerberos has been a leader in monitoring environmental parameters for years. Its wireless or ModBUS sensors for Temperature, Relative Humidity, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and CO2 (KET-AIR-200 and KET-AIR-210) make it possible to monitor the indoor environment safely, also thanks to the X-PLATFORM monitoring, which makes it possible to manage and control energy and environmental parameters together.
