A solution dedicated to the monitoring of computer centers, telephone exchanges, base stations and more generally systems organized in 19" racks.

Kerberos has developed a solution dedicated to monitoring systems organised in 19" racks, such as Data Centres, SRBs and telephone exchanges.

The monitoring system is designed to keep all the fundamental parameters of the rack under control, allowing monitoring of the internal temperatures of the rack and the consumption of the equipment. In addition, it has dedicated inputs for smoke, flood and intrusion sensors.

Thanks to X-Monitor technology, each rack can be monitored by a slave unit connected to a single master unit via radio and/or RS485. The master unit can be configured to send data to external platforms via 3G/4G/NB-IoT/LTE-M modem or via Ethernet.

Datacenter

The rack supervision system allows to realize a system of full-state monitoring of all the cabinets in the room. The system, thanks to the wireless connection, is completely independent from the room systems.

Thanks to the ModBUS RTU or TCP/IP protocol of the master it is possible to access the data of all supervisors from a single point by SCADA / PLC / BMS interfacing systems, already present or by sending the data to a platform in cloud. All X-Monitor series devices are directly interfaceable to the network of supervisors.

Telephone centres / RBS

The rack supervision system completes the efficiency dedicated offer for telephone centres, radio base stations and energy-critical business environments, in which the control of the state of the systems merges with the need to optimize energy. The mix of wireless and wired connections suitable to all the requirements of economy and reliability typical of the projects of retrofit necessary to eliminate waste, ensure the comfort of the staff and provide remote supervision and control. The systems quickly install without any need for construction work and without an interrupt of the equipment operation.
