Among the most common needs of a company is the monitoring of general electricity consumption and/or for each individual production line, not only to comply with the provisions of Legislative Decree no. 102/14 for energy-intensive companies, but especially with the aim of optimizing consumption, reducing waste and improving the performance of the entire production cycle.

This functional diagram describes Kerberos's proposal for remote energy monitoring using wireless connectivity in X-Monitor Protocol (X-MP), which guarantees greater safety in data transportability and greater radio range, over 1000 m in free air, compared to normal wireless protocols on the market. In this way it is possible to monitor several picking points, without carrying out major masonry work and thus reducing installation times, with a single Communication Panel (QM122) for sending the collected data directly to the viewing platform. At the picking point Current Transformers (open/closed) and three-phase Power Meters are used which, in the same electrical panel, interface with the Repeater Master ModBUS KET-RMB-211 through an RS485 port. For medium/long distances the use of KET-RMB-210/220 repeater may be necessary.

QM122 - Communication Panel

The Communication Panel is a switchboard with 12 DIN modules IP65, consisting of the router KET-MUM-100 that ensures connection even in the absence of a local area network and the gateway KET-GZE-220 that in addition to sending data to external platforms (such as X-Platform), has an internal SD memory that allows you to store data for long periods and a radio module X-MP.

Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration of devices for easy and fast installation, SIM for annual data traffic at very attractive prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.

KET-RMB-211

It is a device with ModBUS Master function up to 32 slave profiles for the acquisition of the measurement from the Power Meter, equipped with X-MP radio module for sending the data directly to the KET-GZE-220 gateway. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (panel 1).

Power Meter

Kerberos has a wide range of Power Meters: three-phase or single-phase, MID and non-MID certified, for current transformers or direct insertion.

The functional diagram shows the KET-PMT-216, three-phase power meter for MID-certified current transformers, the most flexible in the range for your plants. It uses 6 ModBUS Slave profiles and therefore a maximum of 5 profiles can be connected for each ModBUS KET-RMB-211 Master. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

Current Transformers

Kerberos's Current Transformers are high precision, both with openable core (KET-TAA-000) and closed core (KET-TAC-000) with a wide range of models to meet all your needs.

Optional Repeaters

For medium/long distances or in the presence of structural obstacles (see "Tips on how to install radio devices"), Kerberos has wireless repeater with extended radio range in X-MP, for mounting to DIN rail (KET-RMB-210), wall (KET-RMB-220) or pre-inserted in electrical panels with IP65 degree of protection (KET-RMB-210.S).
