Measurement of multiple energy input/output points
This diagram shows Kerberos's solution for monitoring multiple input/output points, both locally and remotely, with devices for reading and processing signals from ES interfaces, in this case for Enabled Virtual Units.

Each Enabled Virtual Unit (UVA) for the Dispatching Services Market (MSD) must be equipped, as a necessary requirement, with Peripheral Monitoring Units (UPM).

Kerberos offers solutions for local and remote monitoring of UVA plants with panels complete with devices for reading and processing the signals coming from ES interfaces, making available, also through profiles of the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol, the active/reactive powers of both the energy injected and taken with tariff band management.

In this functional scheme is represented a typical situation, with a local monitoring point with electrical panel (Panel 1) consisting of an advanced gateway, KET-GZE-310, and a pulse counter ModBUS with signal repeater, KET-MES-610, and a remote monitoring point with electrical panel (Panel 2) with inside a wireless pulse counter with signal repeater, KET-MES-666, which sends the data via radio to the gateway, where necessary, with the help of repeater KET-RMB-210.

KET-GZE-310

It is an advanced gateway with Ethernet interface, 3G/4G/NB-IoT/LTE-M modem, Wi-Fi and radio module that can reach over 1000 m away in the open air, with Master ModBUS function up to 32 slave profiles and datalogger with data logging capacity for periods longer than 3 months.

Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration of devices for easy and fast installation, SIM for annual data traffic at very low prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.

KET-MES-610

It is a ModBUS pulse counter compatible with Signal Emission Boards (ES), equipped with 6 digital inputs with signal repeater for clean contacts: 2 for active and reactive energy withdrawn; 2 for active and reactive energy input; 2 for tariff bands. It also allows the insertion of K and C factors for the withdrawal and input meters, in this way it calculates in real time the kWh of active and reactive energy and the instantaneous powers for each meter.

It uses 4 ModBUS Slave profiles and therefore a maximum of 8 can be connected for each Gateway. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

KET-MES-666

With the same characteristics of the KET-MES-610, but, instead of an RS485 port, it is equipped with a radio module with X-Monitor Protocol that allows to reach distances of over 1000 m in free air. In sites with several monitoring points, it allows to reduce the number, and relative costs, of gateways. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 2).

KET-RMB-210.S

Wireless Repeater already inserted in an electrical panel with IP65 protection degree, suitable for outdoor installation. Thanks to the high sensitivity of its radio module, it allows to reduce the costs due to the network infrastructure, necessary where there are structural obstacles that do not allow direct communication between the KET-GZE-310 and the KET-MES-666.
