This scheme shows the Kerberos's solution for monitoring the consumption of a gas plant with Dresser turbine or rotary flowmeters.

The need to measure and monitor methane gas consumption is increasingly part of an energy efficiency project, which cannot be carried out by reading the main meter alone, but also requires the acquisition of information on the withdrawals of different users. The availability of additional measurement points within the distribution network is an essential prerequisite for optimising the distribution of the consumption of sub-users and, at the same time, verifying the accuracy of the amount invoiced by the supplier.

 

This functional scheme describes Kerberos's proposal for monitoring the consumption of a methane gas plant using Dresser turbine gas flow meters, KET-CGT-000, or alternatively with rotoids,

KET-CGP-000 that send the measurement to the KET-DMX-200.AX via pulse output, interface with 6 digital inputs for dry contacts. For a completely safe operation, the installation of an Atex barrier, KET-BAX-100/200, galvanically isolated, is foreseen, which will be installed in a panel (Panel 1) together with the KET-DMX-200.AX upstream of the meter. The data will be transmitted wirelessly to the KET-GZE-220 gateway, within the Communication Panel (QM122), for the collection and transmission of data directly on the display platform.

The Communication Panel is a switchboard with 12 DIN modules IP65, composed of the KET-MUM-100 router that guarantees connection even in the absence of a local network and the KET-GZE-220 gateway that in addition to sending data to external platforms (such as X-Platform), has an internal SD memory that allows you to store data for long periods and an X-MP radio module.

 

Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration of devices for easy and fast installation, SIM for annual data traffic at very attractive prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.

 

KET-DMX-200.AX

 

It is an interface with 6 digital inputs specifically for counting the pulses of gas flow meters. It is equipped with a radio module with X-Monitor Protocol, which can reach distances of over 1000 m in free air, for sending data directly to the Communication Panel. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

 

KET-BAX-100/200

 

Atex barriers, with 1 or 2 digital inputs, galvanically isolated, allow the transmission of pulses in hazardous areas in total safety. Also for safety purposes, upstream meters are installed inside an IP56 junction box (Panel 1), together with the KET-DMX-200.AX. Pre-configuration and panel insertion services are provided.

 

KET-CGT-000

 

It is a Dresser turbine gas flow meter that find optimal application in the measurement of non fiscal gas flow rates. Interchangeable internal cartridge complete with turbine, bearings and gears.

 

KET-CGP-000

 

It is a rotoid gas flow meter, are particularly recommended for systems that operate with frequent flow transients. The main advantages are reliability, easy maintenance and an extended operating range with very high measurement accuracy. Double case variant (.T) that guarantees a quieter operation.
