Large companies producing light sources use the DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) system for automatic lighting management. This technology allows the switching on and off of one or more lights, also adjusting the light intensity. It also allows to check the status of the system, detecting any faults of each device. In addition to the technical advantages, the luminaires with integrated DALI system guarantee significant savings in energy, operating and maintenance costs.

This scheme describes Kerberos's proposal for the development of complex lighting automation scenarios equipped with a DALI system. In fact, the KET-GZE-360 gateway allows the management of building automation scenarios and sends data to the X-Platform Easy platform to check and verify the status of individual lighting points or entire sections. A ModBUS-DALI converter, KET-MDL-100, must be installed to send commands from the gateway to the DALI lighting points. It can connect up to 64 compatible DALI devices and support up to 16 DALI groups and 16 DALI scenes. Using the Repeater Master ModBUS KET-RMB-211 and other KET-MDL-100, other DALI systems can be remotely controlled.

KET-GZE-360

It is an advanced gateway with BMS functions for the management of building automation scenarios. Master ModBUS function for up to 32 slave profiles for local management of KET-MDL-100.  In addition, it is equipped with Ethernet interface, 3G/4G/NB-IoT/LTE-M modem and Wi-Fi for data transmission, such as the status of the various lighting points, on external platforms and X-MP radio module to interface with the KET-RMB-211.

Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration and pre-installation in the electrical panel (Panel 1) of the devices for easy and fast installation, the development of dedicated logics based on customer needs, SIM for annual data traffic at very advantageous prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.

KET-MDL-100

It is a ModBUS-DALI converter, capable of connecting up to 64 compatible DALI devices and supporting up to 16 DALI groups and 16 DALI scenes. The number of ModBUS profiles used varies from -1 to -12 depending on the needs of the system and therefore each ModBUS Master can manage up to a maximum of 32. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1 - 2).

KET-RMB-211

It is a device with ModBUS Master function up to 32 slave profiles for the remote management of KET-MDL-100 ModBUS-DALI converters. Thanks to the radio module with X-Monitor Protocol, which can reach distances of more than 1000 m in free air, it is therefore possible to create an extended network infrastructure for the management of a large number of light sources with DALI system. It can be supplied pre-configured and plugged into an electrical cabinet (Panel 2).
