Kerberos has developed a solution dedicated to monitoring 19” rack-mounted systems such as Data Centers, BTSs, and telephone exchanges.
The monitoring system is designed to keep all the fundamental parameters of the rack under control, allowing the monitoring of internal rack temperatures and equipment consumption. Furthermore, it has dedicated inputs for smoke, flooding, and intrusion sensors.

Thanks to X-Monitor technology, each rack can be monitored by a slave unit connected to a single master unit via radio and/or via RS485. The master unit can be configured to send data to external platforms via 3G/4G/NB-IoT/LTE-M modem or via Ethernet.

Datacenters

The rack supervision system allows for the creation of a full-state monitoring system for all the cabinets in the room. Thanks to the wireless connection, the system is completely independent of the room systems.
Thanks to the ModBUS RTU or TCP/IP protocol on the master, it is possible to access data from all supervisors from a single point, interfacing with existing SCADA / PLC / BMS systems or sending data to a cloud platform. All devices in the X-Monitor series can be directly interfaced with the supervisor network.

 

Telephone Exchanges / BTSs

The rack supervision system completes the offering dedicated to the efficiency of telephone exchanges, base transceiver stations (BTSs), and energy-intensive business-critical environments where system status monitoring merges with the need to optimize energy. The mix of wireless and wired connections adapts to all needs of cost-effectiveness and reliability typical of retrofit projects required to eliminate waste, ensure the comfort of technical staff, and provide remote supervision and control. The systems are quickly installed without the need for civil works and without ever interrupting the operation of the equipment.
