The optimization of industrial air conditioning systems plays a key role in energy efficiency while respecting the environment and consequently greater economic savings for companies.
Especially in the case of large industrial companies, a different management of air temperature and quality is necessary to create a microclimate that conforms to the correct liveability of the space and the standards in force.
This functional diagram shows Kerberos's proposal for the management of the entire cooling system, from refrigeration units to air conditioners (CDZ) and free coolers. The KET-GZE-360 gateway, through BMS functions, allows the management of Building Automation scenarios and, thanks to the supplied software X-Manager, it is very easy to program networks of sensors, even complex ones, setting the necessary parameters and checking the acquired measurements in real time. For the development of programmable logics, it is essential to measure the environmental parameters, with the KET-THL-200, located in every room where there are the refrigerants to be managed, you can acquire the temperatures and relative humidity inside, while with the KET-THL-200.S are acquired the external parameters. Both devices send the data via radio to the gateway that will manage, through wireless relay, KET-REL-200, each refrigerant body according to preconfigured thresholds. If necessary, it is possible to use a remote relay button, KET-PSR-100, to control via radio individual or groups of KET-REL-200s and therefore the opening/closing of the refrigerant bodies.
The KET-PLC-200 controller, on the other hand, allows the refrigerating units to be managed according to a programmable logic for optimisation of consumption. Inserted in an electrical panel (panel 2), it communicates through an RS485 port with the KET-RMB-211 ModBUS Master, which sends the data to the gateway via radio. Depending on the complexity of the structure and the distances between the gateway and the various devices, it may be necessary to install wireless repeaters. Kerberos radio modules in X-Monitor protocol can reach distances of more than 1000 m (external antenna) or 600 m (internal antenna) in free air.
It is an advanced gateway with BMS functions for the management of complex scenarios. Equipped with ethernet interface, modem 3G/4G/NB-IoT/LTE-M, Wi-Fi and radio module, also acts as a ModBUS Master for up to 32 slave profiles and as a datalogger with data recording capacity for periods longer than 3 months. Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration and pre-insertion in the electrical panel (Panel 1) of the devices for an easy and fast installation, the development of dedicated logics according to customer needs, SIM for annual data traffic at very advantageous prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.
It is a ModBUS Master with up to 32 slave profiles, equipped with a radio module for sending data to the gateway. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (panel 2).
It is a logic controller, suitable for the management of home automation scenarios and for applications in the refrigeration and air conditioning sectors. It uses 4 ModBUS Slave profiles and therefore a maximum of 8 profiles can be connected for each ModBUS Master. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 2).
Battery operated environmental sensor with internal radio antenna, it is equipped with highly reliable sensors for temperature, relative humidity and light. It can be supplied pre-configured. Available version, KET-THL-210, with ModBUS interface, powered by low voltage.
Environmental sensor with batteries for outdoor use, IP65 degree of protection, with internal radio antenna, is equipped with sensors with high reliability of temperature, relative humidity and light. Necessary for comparison with the environmental parameters of the various rooms and management of automation scenarios. It can be supplied pre-configured. Available version, KET-THL-210.S, with ModBUS interface, powered by low voltage.
Wireless relay with internal radio antenna, allows the control of refrigerants (CDZ, free cooler). It can be supplied pre-configured.
Remote relay button with internal radio antenna, it allows to manage with a single button one or more KET-REL-200 for the opening/closing of the refrigerants (CDZ, free cooler). It can be supplied already pre-configured and with customized front label.
