Monitoring of DHW consumption with calorie counter
This scheme shows 2 Kerberos solutions for monitoring the consumption of Domestic Hot Water.

To get a profitable and efficient management of the energy requirements necessary for the heating/cooling or DHW cycles of the autonomous plants, it is essential to set up an instrumental set that allows the collection of the fundamental data for the accounting of the physical heat. This allows not only to verify the accuracy of what is invoiced by the supplier, but also to make evaluations on the partialisation of the loads of the different thermal zones that make up the building.

This functional scheme describes two Kerberos's proposals for measuring DHW consumption:the first (connection type 1) with the use of an ultrasonic flow meter, KET-CCU-000, which via pulse output or 4-20 mA analogue output sends the measurement to the ModBUS calorie counter, KET-CCC-100. Together with the temperature probes, these devices form the KET-KCU-000 kit.

In the second (connection type 2) is used an electromagnetic flow meter, KET-CCM-000, which transmits the measurement, unlike the first case, via analog output 4-20 mA to the KET-CCC-100. Together with the temperature probes, these devices form the KET-KCM-000 kit.

The KET-CCC-100, via RS485, sends the data to the KET-GZE-220 gateway, present in the same electrical cabinet (Panel 1), for display on external platforms such as X-Platform Easy.

 

KET-GZE-220

 

It is a gateway with Ethernet interface and radio module, with ModBUS Master function for up to 32 slave profiles and datalogger with data recording capacity for periods longer than 3 months.  

Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration and insertion in a pre-wired electrical panel (panel 1) of the devices for quick and easy installation, and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.

 

KET-MUM-100

 

Industrial type modem, it interfaces with the gateway via Ethernet port. Equipped with the main security certifications, guarantees the connection even in the absence of a local network, Kerberos provides, as an additional service, a SIM for data traffic with annual fee contract at very advantageous prices. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

 

KET-CCC-100

 

It is a ModBUS thermal energy meter in compliance with EN1434, equipped with analogical, digital, frequency and temperature inputs (flow/return). It uses 6 ModBUS Slave profiles and therefore a maximum of 5 profiles can be connected for each ModBUS Master. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

 

KET-CCU-000

 

It is an ultrasonic flow meter, with direct installation on the pipeline with flanged or threaded connections. It sends the data to the KET-CCC-100 via pulse output or 4-20 mA analogue output. It can be supplied pre-configured.

 

KET-CCM-000

 

It is an electromagnetic flow meter with direct installation on the pipeline with flanged connections. It sends the data to the KET-CCC-100 via 4-20 mA output.  It can be supplied pre-configured.

 

KET-SPT

 

Kerberos has many types of temperature probes: PT100/500/1000, 2-wire or 4-wire, MID certified, different cable lengths, etc..
