Complete monitoring of a photovoltaic system from strings to inverters - LV
This scheme shows Kerberos's solution for monitoring the production of a low-voltage photovoltaic plant with an 8-channel string power meter and a three-phase power meter with CT for measuring the current upstream of the inverter.

Having a photovoltaic system in full efficiency is a guarantee of performance and economic return on investment. In addition to routine maintenance, it is important to establish the performance of the systems through appropriate monitoring tools. Processing plant production data, analysing the alarms generated and drawing up periodic and intervention reports are the tools and best practices for predictive maintenance and designing re-powering solutions that optimise the cost/benefit ratio.

This functional scheme describes Kerberos's proposal for monitoring the consumption of a photovoltaic system. Thanks to the KET-MFV-108 power meter with 8 Hall effect magnetic current collectors, it is possible to measure the current of each string of the plant, downstream of the inverter. The sensors are bidirectional and allow "reverse current" signalling in field systems with strings connected in parallel without anti-reversal diodes. The same procedure as in Functional Scheme 2 is used for measuring the current upstream of the inverter. In order to verify the correct yield of the photovoltaic panels, it is important to compare the measurements taken by the digital solarimeter ModBUS KET-SIR-300.

QM122 - Communication Panel

The Communication Panel is a switchboard with 12 DIN modules IP65, consisting of the router KET-MUM-100 that ensures connection even in the absence of a local area network and the gateway KET-GZE-220 that in addition to sending data to external platforms (such as X-Platform), has an internal SD memory that allows you to store data for long periods and a radio module X-MP. It also incorporates a ModBUS TCP/IP server that allows the connection of the X-Monitor network to SCADA systems.

Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration of the devices for an easy and fast installation, SIM for annual data traffic at very advantageous prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.

KET-RMB-211

It is a device with ModBUS Master function up to 32 slave profiles for the acquisition of the measurement from the Power Meter, equipped with X-MP radio module for sending the data directly to the KET-GZE-220 gateway. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

Power Meter

Kerberos has a wide range of Power Meters: three-phase or single-phase, MID and non-MID certified, for current transformers or direct insertion.

The functional diagram shows the KET-PMT-216, three-phase power meter for MID-certified current transformers, the most flexible in the range for your plants. It uses 6 ModBUS Slave profiles and therefore a maximum of 5 profiles can be connected for each ModBUS KET-RMB-211 Master. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

Current Transformers

Kerberos Amperometric Transformers are high precision, both with openable core (KET-TAA-000) and closed core
(
KET-TAC-000) with a wide range of models to meet all your needs.

KET-MFV-108

It is a power meter with 8 Hall effect magnetic current collectors to measure the current of each string of the system. The installation downstream of the inverter is very simple and protects against the risk of failure due to overvoltage in the field. It uses 16 ModBUS Slave profiles, so up to 2 profiles can be connected for each ModBUS Master KET-RMB-211. It can be supplied pre-configured.

KET-SIR-300

It is a ModBUS digital solarimeter with laminated photovoltaic glass cell, essential for retrofit solutions and predictive maintenance. Sends data directly to the KET-RMB-211 via RS485 port, only requires a ModBUS Slave profile. It can be supplied pre-configured.
