The Service Stations are an important energy user with different types of systems: number of pumps, services, shop area, number and types of car wash systems.
The importance of monitoring actual electricity consumption and adopting targeted solutions to improve efficiency can be seen.
Many service stations have already adopted systems of energy efficiency by installing photovoltaic plants on the roofs of the filling area, it will, however, be necessary to verify the relationship between energy produced and consumed and a check on the performance of the same photovoltaic panel that over time could be damaged or dirty and therefore produce less energy.
Kerberos offers integrated solutions that make it possible to manage all these different aspects, from monitoring the electricity consumption of the various areas of the service station to measuring the production of the photovoltaic plan, and proposes further solutions for intelligent efficiency of electricity.
Thanks to a wide choice of power meters we can monitor the electrical consumption of each area (shop, services, filling, car wash), the data is sent to one or more Master ModBUS KET-RMB-211, each can manage up to 4 power meters, and then transmitted to a single concentrator KET-GZE-360 and made easily accessible on our X-Platform Easy platform.
In this way, with a reduced number of products and without important masonry works, it is possible to monitor even large service stations.
For the photovoltaic system, through pulse counting devices that measure the energy input, KET-MES-400, Hall effect sensors, KET-MFV-108, and solarimeters, KET-SIR-300, we can verify the energy efficiency of the system (for more details see "For the photovoltaic and wind parks").
A significant part of the cost is represented by the lighting of the supply area and perimeter that remains on even in moments of inactivity.
With the use of pyranometers, KET-PIR-112, one for each refuelling lane or one for the entire area, it is possible to switch on the luminaires equipped with KET-DIM-100 dimmers, only in the presence of people/vehicles near the pump.
For perimeter lights, the KET-REL-100 is controlled by pre-configured relays during switch-on and switch-off times.
