The KET-CVI-100 is a Type 1 gas volume converter, data logger and communicator with GPRS/GSM/SMS modem, integrated in a single container and installed in a dangerous area, particularly in the zone classified as Zone 1.
It is designed to calculate gas volumes at base conditions, according to measurement conditions, temperature, pressure and compressibility of the gas.
Gas volumes are acquired through a low-frequency input (BF). The pressure and temperature transducers can be installed in a zone classified as Zone 0.
The KET-CVI-100 module complies with the UNI EN12405-1:2010 standard and meets the requirements of the MID according to Annex MI-002 (gas volume conversion devices) according to the Welmec 7.2 Issue 5 guide.
It complies with Resolution ARG/gas 155/08 and UNI-TS 11291.
The calculation of the compressibility factor of the gas is carried out according to ISO 12213-3 (SGERG-88) or by imposing a fixed user-programmable Zb/Z factor.
