Monitoring and efficiency of refrigeration units
This scheme shows the Kerberos's solution for monitoring electrical and thermal energy consumption to make refrigeration units more efficient.
Efficiency means knowing, analysing and acting in a virtuous cycle of continuous improvement. The X-Monitor series of devices allows the collection and transmission of parameters typical of industrial and civil environments. In addition to the consumption data, it is possible to measure quantities obtained from the production process in a non-invasive way. Our X-Platform platform allows advanced analysis with processing of KPIs and virtual sensors, plus predictive analysis with machine learning techniques.
We have selected, in collaboration with our Partners, a wide range of meters and counters - also MID certified - to meet the needs of our customers without costly integration activities. All products are already fully integrated into gateways and platforms.

Refrigeration units are an important element in the balance of company energy costs for some industrial companies. The monitoring of electrical and thermal energy consumption is therefore fundamental in a programme of energy efficiency and cost reduction.
This functional scheme describes Kerberos's proposal for monitoring and efficiency of a refrigeration unit with the installation of a Communication Panel (QM122) for collecting and sending data directly to the display platform, and a panel for monitoring electrical energy consumption (Panel 1) consisting of a KET-RMB-211 ModBUS Master, a three-phase power meter KET-PMT-216 and current transformers (open/closed), and an instrumental set that allows the collection of basic data for the accounting of physical heat with probes for the production temperature of chilled water and the condensation temperature.
QM122 - Communication Panel
The Communication Panel is a switchboard with 12 DIN modules IP65, composed of the KET-MUM-100 router that guarantees connection even in the absence of a local network and the KET-GZE-220 gateway that in addition to sending data to external platforms (such as X-Platform), has an internal SD memory that allows you to store data for long periods and an X-MP radio module.
Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration of devices for easy and fast installation, SIM for annual data traffic at very attractive prices and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and visualization, configurable to your needs.
KET-RMB-211
It is a device with ModBUS Master function up to 32 slave profiles for the acquisition of the measurement both from the Power Meter and from the KET-CCC-100 calorie counter. It is equipped with a radio module with X-Monitor Protocol, which can reach distances of over 1000 m in free air, for sending data directly to the KET-GZE-220 gateway. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).
Power Meter
Kerberos has a wide range of Power Meters: three-phase or single-phase, MID and non-MID certified, for current transformers or direct insertion.
The functional scheme shows the KET-PMT-216, three-phase power meter for current transformers certified MID, the most flexible in the range for your plants. It uses 6 ModBUS Slave profiles and therefore a maximum of 5 profiles can be connected for each ModBUS Master KET-RMB-211. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).

Kerberos Amperometric Transformers are high precision, both with openable core (KET-TAA-000) and closed core (KET-TAC-000) with a wide range of models to meet all your needs.
KET-KCO-100
It is a kit for thermal energy measurements complete with ultrasonic flowmeter clamp-on for fixed installation
KET-CCO-100, computer KET-CCC-100 and temperature probes. The devices can be pre-configured and the KET-CCC-100 plugged into the electrical cabinet (Panel 2). See Functional Scheme 8.
