Direct Current Measurement
This diagram shows the Kerberos solution for measuring direct current, both locally and remotely.

In addition to the consumption data, it is possible to measure quantities obtained from the production process in a non-invasive way. This functional diagram describes Kerberos's proposal for measuring the Direct Current using a specific Power Meter, KET-MDC-301, complete with power supply and ModBUS module (-2 slave profiles) that interfaces directly to the KET-GZE-220 gateway with ModBUS Master function for up to 32 slave profiles. The KET-MUM-100 modem is located inside the same electrical panel (Panel 1) and guarantees connection even in the absence of a local network. Also, using the ModBUS Master with repeater function, KET-RMB-211, it is possible to acquire data from other KET-MDC-301 for remote measurement points (Panel 2), keeping at the same time a single gateway.
KET-GZE-220
It is a gateway with Ethernet interface and radio module that can reach over 1000 m away in free air, with ModBUS Master function up to 32 slave profiles and datalogger with data recording capacity for periods longer than 3 months.
Kerberos offers as additional services the preconfiguration and insertion in a pre-wired electrical panel (panel 1) of the devices for quick and easy installation, and the X-Platform Easy platform for data acquisition and display, configurable to your needs.
KET-MUM-100
Industrial type modem, it interfaces with the gateway via Ethernet port. Equipped with the main security certifications, guarantees the connection even in the absence of a local network, Kerberos provides, as an additional service, a SIM for data traffic with annual fee contract at very advantageous prices. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1).
KET-MDC-301
It is a DC power meter complete with power supply and an auxiliary serial communication unit (RS485).
The KET-MDC-301 requires a reduced number of ModBUS slave profiles (-2), thanks to which it is possible to connect up to a maximum of 16 of them to any ModBUS Master, such as the KET-GZE-220 or the KET-RMB-211. It can be supplied already pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 1 and 2).
KET-RMB-211
It is a ModBUS Master up to 32 slave profiles, equipped with a radio module, which can reach a distance of more than 1000 m in free air, for sending data to the gateway. These features make it easy to install other KET-MDC-301 for measuring direct current at other remote points in the system and avoids the need to use other gateways, thus reducing overall costs. It can be supplied pre-configured and inserted in the electrical panel (Panel 2).
